We believe that there are too many young people who are ready to be the leaders of tomorrow, but do not have access to the necessary opportunities to reach their full potential. We know that professional skills and strong networks built on real relationships are the keys to unlocking a successful future.

We believe that attaining life-fulfilling careers begins with uncovering the limitless pathways scholars can achieve by making resources and professionals more accessible. We empower South Bronx High School Scholars through our transformative career exposure and professional networking- building a foundation to become the next generation of industry leaders.

Our Mission Statement

The Emerging Leaders Program empowers South Bronx scholars from historically disenfranchised communities to attain fulfilling and life-sustaining careers through professional skills development, trusted relationships with professionals, and career exposure in order for them to access economic mobility and to create a new generation of professional leaders.

A long-term road to Personal and Professional Growth

The ELP Core Program

The bread and butter of ELP; after-school programming focused on helping scholars build professional skills. The program culminates with a capstone project where scholars collectively tackle and present a real-world case study

NYC School Partners

Collaborating closely with our schools enables us to build a network of support around our scholars and keep them engaged. We work alongside our school partners every step of the way as we recruit and select participants, engage scholars in real-world experiences, and track their future successes. Our school partners provide the essential in-school support, setting the stage for our scholars to gain the skills and experiences they need to have successful careers.

We currently partner with: The Laboratory School of Finance and Technology, The Bronx Academy of Letters, Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics, Comp Sci High, and Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School.
